SOLO BAND
GILBERTO MENDOZA
Born and raised in Baja Mexico has been working as a musical entertainer for corporate functions, events and private parties in the Los Cabos area for over twenty years as a guitar player and singer.
Gil is best known as the lead guitar player for the real house band and at the world renown cantina Cabo Wabo in Cabo San Lucas, playing 6 nights a week for twenty year. As an active participant in the musical productions for all of Sammy Hagar’s concerts and private events at the Wabo venue.
Gil has worked side by side on stage with famous musicians to the likes of Stevie Wonder, Chad Smith drummer for (Red Hot Chilly Peppers), John Mayer, Toby Keith Meatloaf, and Wabo’s very own Sammy Hagar.
As a traveling musician Gil has toured in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Diego, and the Cabo Wabo in Fresno on several ocasions.
Gil’s musical expression continues as he is also pursuing a career as a recording artist, arranger and producer as heard on his debut album called “KONGALL” a mixture of rock, pop and soulful R&B sounds. Gil has worked along side many well renowned local musicians and artists on productions and performances.
